My Journey To become an Electrical Engg..

In the year 2004 when I gave all my competitive exams I didn't knew that I will clear almost every one of them with a good marks.Even I had not made my mind that in which field I shall opt my degree course.

So when I googled about Electrical Engg. I got the defination "Electrical engineering, sometimes referred to as electrical and electronic engineering, is a field of engineering that deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism.Although I did not like the term electromagnetism, as in 12th class also, there were few topics regarding electromagnetism which I could not understand but still I didn't knew what made my mind to opt for this branch.My interest was in the Power System area of Electrical Engg.Although there are many topics without which Electrical Engg. is incomplete such as Control Systems,Electromagnetic Theory ,Basic Electrical Engg.,Machine Design,etc...

This will always be a part of my education.I will always understand how electricity is supplied to our homes,how a transformer works,how a motor rotates,how a generator supplies energy,open circuit,short ckt. and last but not the least economics(cost is always involved while designing stuff).???
So, how does this compare to other engineering disciplines?Well we have mechanical engg,who always study how to resolve forces,how to design a machine ,how a boiler works and all those stuffs..Also there is Automobile dept. which is somewhat similar to Mech,as applied to the design, manufacture and operation of motorcycles, automobiles,buses and trucks and their respective engineering subsystems.
All these majors start off on the same bases then move on into their own disciplines later on in the undergraduate courses.
Apart from that there are also IT,Computer and Electonics enggs.This is a whole different set of engineers. Computer engineers can design computer chips and design softwares same like that the IT professionals also do.Electronic enggs deal with electronics devices,CRO,work on diff. digital ckts,TV,antenna etc etc...Frankly speaking electronic engg. is considered to be at the same level as electrical enggs.:)

I'm sure they do more than that but I'm just giving a simple idea of what they do. :)

I just thought I'd give a few definitions to what engineers do. :)

Saviour Of the Indian Cricket.

Well India is a land of cricket although our national game is Hockey but frm the starting when a child starts to run frm that time he is given the bat to play CRICKET.But what is happening to this game nowadays??Why our selection committee is not giving chance to great players who have saved India frm being thrashed out frm many games???A big question is still prevailing in my mind to one of the most  favourite player of all time history"SOURAV GANGULY" or you can say our DADA.This is a world of aggression, world which inspires us to win,this is the world where we can set a target , a world which teaches us  never to let down, a world which teaches us how to lead.From all the spheres of life, today's world set us to become a perfect human being.

This player had started his carreer in the year 1992 where he was just given a few chance after that he was out of the team.But afterwards he set a half century as a opener  with Sachin,which opened his luck.The opening partnership between the two was one of the finest,toughest  and the most exciting pairs in the world.One was the GOD OF THE CRICKET and the other was known as the GOD OF THE OFFSIDE as anything you deliver to his offside he will tear the ball and the ball will go crossing all the players in offside.Nobody knew that this player who was once neglected by the selection comittee can become the savior of the Indian Cricket when India was really struggling with the opening pair in ODI's.

It was the year 2000 when under Sachin's captaincy India lost to Aussies and South Africa.Ard 5-6 matches they had lost in a row. Sachin stepped down from the captaincy and Indian team was again in a state of great dillema that who will be the next captain .Even Rahul Dravid was given the chance but how a player who is the wall of indian side can stress his mind in batting,wicket keeping and a captain.He did his job but success was not achieving as it should be.

Then  came Sourav Ganguly. He was elected as the Indian Captain to succeed Sachin Tendulkar when he stepped down from the captainship. Sourav played with three ex captains (Azahar, Jadeja and Sachin) and even senior players like (Srinath, Venkatesh and Kumble)   he managed it all beautifully well and won the ODI series against SA by 3-2.Then a great threat came to India regarding the match fixing scandal.Many senior players were asked to leave the team.Then again with the kiwi coach John Wright, Sourav rebuilt the Indian cricket team and changed it into TEAM INDIA which was known for its never say die  attitude. Sourav fought with selectors for youngsters like Yuvi, Bhajji,Kaif, Veeru for their positions in the team. Sourav lead this TEAM INDIA to the finals of two ICC Championships and then finally to the WORLD CUP-2003 finals.Many of the cricket experts declared the team leaded by DADA as one of the finest team in the whole world.

In the year 2006 he was again kept out of the side due to his non-cricketing stuffs.The young Indian team set a record of continuous 17 wins . Everybody forgot Sourav at that time as the team was doing great. But again most of those wins were in Indian Subcontinent. But true picture of the Indian Cricket Team became clear when they had to play outside the subcontinent. Continuous defeats was there in home and outside. Again Indian Cricket needed someone to save them and then again Sourav was called back. And as a result India again started winning . 

He was insulted again and again by the cricket board, he was  dropped again and again  due to his non criceketing stuffs but still it was always Sourav Ganguly who brought the glories to Indian Cricket.Again he had been out of the Irani Trophy and many matches.He was the SAVIOUR of the Indian Cricket Team.
